An accident has closed Sea to Sky Highway.
Highway 99 is closed in both directions south of the Furry Creek Bridge following a serious vehicle incident. An air ambulance is on the scene.
The closure affects a 0.4-kilometre stretch between Porteau Cove and Sea View Drive, approximately 7 to 8 kilometres south of Squamish. Authorities have not provided details on injuries or the number of vehicles involved.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area and expect significant delays. The next update from DriveBC is expected at 5:30 pm.
