Stl’atl’imx Tribal police found the youth on a bridge in Lillooet and engaged in conversation, persuading the individual to step away from the edge. On April 29, Lillooet RCMP also received a report of a naked man running around near the Esso in Lillooet, possibly being chased by someone. The naked man was located and was uncooperative with police. Though he was visibly injured, he told police he was not in a fight.
On April 22, 2024, a business owner reported that a man wearing a puffy tan coat and carrying a green backpack had stolen a bottle of alcohol from his store and left on a bicycle. A Lillooet RCMP member attended, looked at the CCTV footage, and obtained a still image of the suspect.
Police later found the suspect matching the description and arrested him for theft. He gave up the unopened bottle of alcohol and agreed to apologize to the owner. He was transported back to the business, where he apologized to the owner and was told he was not allowed back there again. The owner was satisfied with the outcome and did not seek charges.
