Police in Pemberton are seeking assistance from drivers who may have dashcam footage of a man involved with multiple driving offences under the Motor Vehicle Act and Criminal Code.
On May 24, around 6 pm, Sea to Sky RCMP Whistler received reports of an erratic driver northbound on Highway 99 from Whistler. He was driving a grey Dodge Ram 1500 crew cab truck with BC license plate number PG 885A. Around 6:30 pm, a Sea to Sky RCMP Pemberton officer found the truck in a ditch on Highway 99 at Vine Road.
The driver needed medical attention for injuries but was released from hospital shortly after. Once medically cleared, officers arrested the man for a number of offences and released him with a future court date. Police are now appealing to Sea to Sky Highway drivers for dashcam footage to help assist with the investigation.
